April 2016

5th April 2016

In this half term, we were visited by Louis Taylor, who told us about road safety, and the importance of being safe on the road. He made being safe on the road sound exciting and fun.

Oak class, (Year 5-6) have received Painted Lady caterpillars for science, they have been learning about life cycles and are excited to see the caterpillars become chrysalides and morph into butterflies!

The book fair has taken place in the hall recently, and Year 6 helped to set up and sell the books and other merchandise like pens and erasers. There was a huge selection of books and they sold very well.

The new classrooms have almost been completed, the car park is nearly ready for full use and the office has been replaced, the builders have been working very hard in our school and we are very grateful. We look forward to try out the MUGA – our new games area - which we hope will be ready very soon.
